How it all started
Owners Jess & Cheri
After 27 years with the US Army, I was looking forward to something new. Adventure and travel were at the top of that list. Being a total foodie, many adventures and travel centered around food. Including a cross-country trip from Virginia to Washington, mapped out by the Food Network app, of all the best places to eat as seen on the popular series by Guy Fieri, “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.”
One of those stops was in downtown Denver, Colorado at a hot dog cart selling the classic American favorite, footlong dogs. The "dog slinger" appeared to be having a great time and his line kept growing. My wife Cheri and I watched with great interest and thought "We should do that in Alaska!" Many years passed, but the thought persisted.. and here we are today. Instead of hotdogs, we decided to make the much more fun and tasty version, on a stick.
With great fear and greater excitement, we took the plunge, and Corn Diggity Dogs was born. The Fairbanks community has shown us great love and support (thank you!) You can find us around town at local breweries, festivals, and events.
